Returns to ForesterPress

ForesterPress will accept returns of books with a valid receipt and within 30 days of purchase. Returned items must be in salable condition. We will happily replace defective items with a new copy of the same item. Please note that we can process returns and issue refunds only for items purchased directly from ForesterPress.

When returning items to our Customer Service Center, please indicate the reason for your return on the reverse side of the packing slip and include the packing slip in the carton. If you no longer have your packing slip, please write your name, address, e-mail address, phone number, order number, reason for your return, and any return instructions (such as a request for an exchange) on a piece of paper and include it in the carton. For your protection, you may wish to send your return via UPS or insured parcel post. Please send all returns to:

Returns made to ForesterPress will be refunded in the form of the original payment method. Credit card purchases will be credited back to the same card. Orders paid by check will have a refund check issued. Please note that we can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error. Although we issue credits as quickly as possible, please note that it may take one to two billing cycles for the refund to appear on your billing statement, depending on how quickly your bank processes the credit.

Note: If you received a volume discount or any other promotion based on the quantity of books purchased and due to a partial return of your order the additional discount or promotion is no longer valid, an appropriate price adjustment will be made before giving a credit. In such cases we will e-mail you an explanation of the above adjustments.

The majority of books in our online catalog are available; most orders are processed and shipped within five to 10 business days.

However, a small number of books may be unavailable due to low stock, publication delays, etc. We make every effort to inform our customers via e-mail or regular mail should any items be temporarily out of print or no longer available.

Please note that item availability is subject to change based on the stock status of an item in our distribution center. In the event that any item in the order proves to be temporarily out of stock or permanently unavailable after the order is placed, we will ship the balance of the order with notification on the packing slip.

Availability: What Does It Mean?

The availability estimate on each item’s detail page refers to the amount of time it will take us to acquire the item once you place your order. It does not take into consideration the amount of time it will take your order to reach you once we ship it. Shipping time is dependent on the shipping method chosen. Here is the equation used to determine receipt of an order:

(Availability) + (Shipping Time) = Total Delivery Time
